Up to the age of 5 children currently receive free milk under the Government Nursery Milk scheme. Pupils who partake of the ‘Milk in Schools Scheme’ (available up to the end of the school year in which they are seven) benefit from a subsidy from the Intervention Board. This represents a significant reduction in the actual cost of milk. It currently costs approximately £11.50 per term.

If you would like your child to have milk it can be ordered and paid for each term.  Milk is also available for children in Key Stage 2, but without a subsidy.  This is at a cost of £1 per week.
